Osteopathic manipulative medicine is the specialty combining traditional medical diagnosis and treatment methods with biomechanical evaluation and manipulative treatment. This combination gives our patients the best of both worlds in the diagnosis and treatment of their painful disorders.
New patients receive a history review and physical/biomechanical examination. Lab and radiology are ordered if needed. Treatment may include any combination of gentle osteopathic manipulation, physical medicine modalities, exercise instruction, prescription medications or injections.
Treatment always includes a caring attitude and willingness to dig deeper until the cause of the pain has been treated to the best possible outcome. Referrals to other specialists are ordered as needed to establish the best team we can put together to maximize pain relief as quickly as possible.
